How to Make a Travel Insurance Claim

All claims must be submitted within 31 days of your return to the UK. If you have questions about the claims process, or a claim that you've already made, email us at claims@covermore.co.uk or call 01245 272 402.

Our fast and simple claims process

  1. Download and complete a claim form: To help us process your claim quickly, try to complete the relevant form(s) as fully as possible.

    Claim form A for medical, dental and additional expenses as well as travel delay, amendment or cancellation costs

    Claim form B for rental car insurance excess, delayed luggage allowance as well as lost luggage, travel documents or money,

  2. Add your receipts and supporting documentation: At the back of the claim form, there is a simple list of the supporting documents you'll need to send us. Don't forget, we require originals of all documentation. Please make copies before sending documents to us.

  3. Send it in: Post your original claim form and all supporting documents to:

That’s all there is to it. Typically, we’ll settle or respond to your claim within 10 days of receiving your forms. If you have any questions in the meantime, please call us at 01245 272 402 or email claims@covermore.co.uk.

Extra information

Lost or stolen luggage: You must report lost or stolen belongings to the police or responsible Transport Provider and obtain a written report within 24 hours.

Medical claims: If your claim arises due to an emergency situation when you are travelling please phone the emergency assistance number as soon as possible. If you are admitted to hospital or if you anticipate that your medical or related expenses are likely to exceed £300 you may still need to submit a claim form when you have returned home.
