How to Make a Travel Insurance Claim
We hope your trip goes smoothly, but if something unexpected happens and you need to make a claim, we’re here to help.
To help keep things as simple as possible for you, we’ve created a stream-lined claims submission process.

Before you begin submitting your claim/s, please read the below information to ensure they're directed to the correct claims department.
Bought your policy on or after 19/11/2019?
If you purchased your Cover-More UK travel insurance policy directly from our website (and not through a travel agent) on or after 19/11/2019 and Zurich is the insurer of your policy, you will need to submit your claim via CSA using the below instructions.
(Not sure if Zurich is your insurer? If your policy number begins with COV, your insurer should be Zurich. However, please refer to your Certificate of Insurance for confirmation.)
Need to contact CSA? Call them on 020 3318 4154.
- Select the type of claim form(s) you need below and fill them out.
- Save the claims form(s) as a PDF.
- Print out, fill out, and sign your form(s).
- Either scan or photograph your completed form(s) and email them to [email protected]
- Alternatively, you may post your form(s) to CSA Ltd, 308-314 London Road, Hadleigh, Benfleet, Essex SS7 2DD.
Upon receiving your completed claims form, CSA will aim to contact you on behalf of Cover-More UK within 3-5 working days.
If you have a claim to submit, please make sure you notify us of your claim within 30 days of your trip ending. You will need to provide your name, your policy number and your contact details so that we can keep in touch and aim to complete your claim.

Please refer to the policy wording for conditions that apply to each section of cover, however, we recommend you familiarise yourself with the below:
Lost or stolen luggage: You must report claims for lost or stolen belongings the police and/or your transport, accommodation or associated service provider as soon as possible, and obtain a written report within 24 hours.
Medical claims: If your claim arises due to an emergency situation when you are travelling, please phone the emergency assistance number as soon as possible. If you are admitted to hospital or if you anticipate that your medical or related expenses are likely to exceed £300, you may still need to submit a claim form when you have returned home.
We may also require access to your medical records and/or written confirmation from a medical practitioner for claims relating to health reasons, injury or death. If you do not provide this when requested, we will not be able to deal with your claim.
Bought your policy before 19/11/2019 or via a travel agent?
If you purchased your Cover-More UK travel insurance policy directly from our website before 19/11/2019 and ERV is the insurer of your policy, you will need to submit your claim via ERV using the steps outlined below.

If you purchased your policy through a travel agent - no matter the date of purchase - please also follow the instructions below.
To help us process your claim quickly, try to complete the relevant form(s) as fully as possible.
At the back of the claim form, there is a simple list of the supporting documents you'll need to send us.
Please note, we require originals of all documentation. Please make copies before sending documents to us.
